Ms. Boyett-Sullivan's extensive background included previous employment with PAE, which was recently acquired by Amentum, as the director of business development in its National Security Solutions Business Unit in Fredericksburg, Virginia, between 2014 and 2020. She also garnered experience with MRIGlobal in Kansas City, Missouri, and Charlottesville, Virginia, as a senior chemist from 2012 to 2014 and Signature Science in Austin, Texas, as a manager/technical leader from 2010 to 2011. During an earlier stage of her career, Ms. Boyett-Sullivan held several key roles with the Austin Police Department Crime Laboratory, the Texas DPS Crime Laboratory in Austin, the Toxicologly and Accident Research Laboratory of the Federal Aviation Administration, the chemistry department of the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, and the Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, New Mexico.
Throughout the course of her career, Ms. Boyett-Sullivan has been fortunate to have worked for several national security and government clients in developing pioneering solutions, including the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Department of Justice, and the intelligence community. These opportunities have given Ms. Boyett-Sullivan a sense of pride in knowing that her contributions have been influential in protecting the country and serving a significant purpose in keeping their people safe.
Ms. Boyett-Sullivan received a Bachelor of Science in chemistry at New Mexico State University in 1998 and a Master of Science in forensics criminalistics with honors at the University of Central Oklahoma in 2003. Additionally, she received credentials as a program manager professional through the Program Management Institute. Furthermore, Ms. Boyett-Sullivan completed the PAE Leadership Development II course through ExecOnline, a year-long program that included courses through the Columbia, Berkeley, and Yale business schools that resulted in three certifications in strategic growth, accelerating change readiness and agility, and leading and managing globally.
Professionally, Ms. Boyett-Sullivan is a member of the Project Management Institute, the criminalist section of the American Academy of Forensic Science, and the Association of Forensic DNA Analysts and Administrators.
Benchmarking her success, Ms. Boyett-Sullivan has been the recipient of several awards and honors, including two Spotlight Awards in 2012 and 2013 and a Biological Sciences Poster of the Year in 2014 from the MRIGlobal Leadership Council. Ms. Boyett-Sullivan also received three REAP Awards for service to the Austin Police Department in 2008 and 2009 and two Certificates of Appreciation Awards from the Austin Police Department in 2008 and 2009.
