During the early stages of his career, Mr. Kalis gained valuable expertise as technical director of several organizations, including Amistco Separation Products, Koch-Otto York, the Otto H. York Company, and such companies as Kuwait National Petroleum Company, ExxonMobil, Shell Chemicals and a fabrication company in South Korea. Due to his wide range of knowledge, he has also authored several articles on separation technology which were published in hydrocarbon processing and other oil and gas journals worldwide.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Kalis earned a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from The Hague University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. To commemorate his accomplishments, he received an international oil and gas company award through the Houston Award Program. In a career filled with highlights, he is most proud of the first 15 years of his career in which he served at oil refineries in South America and the Middle East and of his work with the Kuwait National Petroleum Company. This set the stage for the next 25 years in becoming a world renowned expert in separation technology. During his career he lived and worked in many countries including Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, the Netherlands, USA and Aruba. He currently lives with his wife Ailyn and daughters Gabrielle and Brianna in Sugar Land, TX. Looking toward the future, Mr. Kalis intends to experience the continued growth of Infinity Engineering and Fabrication.
