Dr. Tom R. Ingegno, DACM, Recognized For Excellence in the Field of Acupuncture

He has also made several television appearances, through which he has covered a wide variety of health issues and treatments, and has been published multiple times through the North American Journal of Oriental Medicine.

To commemorate his accomplishments, Dr. Ingegno has received several accolades throughout the course of his career, including a citation from Maryland Governor Larry Hogan and a certificate of appreciation from the Maryland Secretary of Health for his service on the State Board of Maryland in 2021. Additionally, he was lauded as the Best Acupuncturist by Baltimore Acupuncture in 2021 and 2022, and by the Baltimore City Paper in 2010.

Eminently qualified in his field, Dr. Ingegno holds a master's degree in Oriental medicine and a bachelor's degree in professional health science. Likewise, he was bestowed with a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine by the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2018, and was acknowledged as a diplomate of his profession by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2001. To remain aware of developments in the field, he has maintained his affiliation with organizations as the Society for Acupuncture Research, the American Society of Acupuncturists, the Maryland Acupuncture Society and the National Guild of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Likewise, he served as a board member of the Edo Kai Traditional Acupuncture Society.
