In this capacity, he is the founder and managing director of Aida Corporation in Jacksonville, Florida. Since 2016, he has focused his efforts on managing the company's growth, overseing the company's operation and especially managing the brand creation and supply side of the business. Aida Corporation has strategic relationships with its overseas OEM suppliers in product development and quality assurance. Over the years, Aida Corporation has built up the sales network with its distributors across United States and operate distribution warehouses in Jacksonville and Los Angeles.
Prior to his current role, Dr. Ouyang began his career as an Electrical Engineer with Sarget & Lundy LLC, Chicago in 1990 and was a consultant for strategic change with Pricewaterhouse Coopers in 2000. He then joined Lucent Technologies as the Director of Supply Chain in China and worked on various telecommunication projects with Lucent Technologies, China. He joined Interline Brands, a Jacksonville-based MRO supplying company as the General Manager for Asian Operations based in Shenzhen, China from 2006 until 2014.
In his leisure time, Dr. Ouyang is a seasoned photographer who has won photography competitions in China, conducted solo shows in Chicago, Beijing, and Shenzhen, and published two photographic books.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Dr. Ouyang earned a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Automation from Tsinghua University, Beijing in 1982. Since came to United States in 1985, he gained a Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and subsequently attained a Master of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2000.
