During an earlier stage of his career, Mr. Steinmetz worked for his father-in-law's roofing company in San Diego for more than 15 years. Starting from the bottom, he rose to sales manager where he remained until the company was sold. Mr. Steinmetz also garnered experience as a project manager for a client that he continues to do business with today.
Giving back to his local community, Mr. Steinmetz is involved with the Veteran's Administration and the Disabled American Veterans. He is also active with local initiatives that support breast cancer research. Additionally, Mr. Steinmetz is a member of the Million Man March.
After high school, Mr. Steinmetz studied electronics at Long Beach City College for two years. He subsequently served six years in the U.S. Navy. Highly qualified in his field, Mr. Steinmetz received credentials as a licensed general contractor.
