BAY MINETTE, AL, January 05, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Graham Fardon has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Originally from England, Mr. Fardon began his professional career with Holroyd. Between 1967 and 1981, he became a service technician, built and repaired machines for pump rotor milling, and oversaw construction matters. Subsequently, he expanded upon his industry knowledge by earning a mechanical engineering certification with City and Guilds in 1971. Over the course of the following 35-plus years, Mr. Fardon gained valuable expertise as a manufacturing engineer with Quincy Compressor.
As a manufacturing engineer, Mr. Fardon supervised the machine and tool shop that they bought from his previous company, Holroyd, and managed manufacturing, drafting, and budgeting matters. Upon retiring from Quincy Compressor, he lent his expertise to Kaishan USA for two years before retiring in 2020. In light of his outstanding body of work, Mr. Fardon was honored many times in Who's Who in America during the 1980s.
While his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. Fardon takes the most pride in the work he did with Holroyd. The government sponsored an apprenticeship program and he was one of 22 men that were selected from the company to do one full year of classes on machines and other industry-related matters, as well as theoretical engineering, and a 5-year apprenticeship. The cornerstone of his success lay in the training he received, as well as his previous boss at Quincy Compressor, now CEO of Kaishan USA, who told him that he had the ability to fix anything. In the coming years, Mr. Fardon intends to enjoy his retirement repairing bicycles for charity give-aways; he repaired 120 of them for the last event.
