MINNEAPOLIS, MN, January 10, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mikayla Kincart has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

A successful leader who specializes in the bridal wear industry, Ms. Kincart presently oversees three bridal companies in the Twin Cities as the chief financial officer. Two of the three companies are retail stores, Ivory Bridal Co. (formerly Diamond Bride) in St. Louis Park, and Flutter Bridal Co. in Minneapolis. The third being Colby John Bridal, a bridal wholesale company that provides gowns to stores all over the United States, UK, Canada, and Australia. They have recently begun gaining international market attention and showcasing their products in Barcelona and London.

Aside from ensuring that she and her team are continually progressing in their sales goals, Ms. Kincart focuses on various non-creative aspects of business operations, including the finances and managing her teams. Over the past six years, she has served a crucial role in the rapid growth and development of these bridal companies. Taking them from one discount bridal store and one low-end wholesale company to two prestigious couture bridal stores and an internationally known designer and wholesale company, Colby John.

Garnering extensive mentorship in the industry throughout her career, Ms. Kincart is grateful to the industry's top bridal store owners providing guidance in becoming a strong leader. She believes that they see a small part of themselves in her and love to help at any moment. She is thankful for her boss and close friend, Colby John Tredway, for his wisdom, encouragement, and support as this dream and position would have never been made possible without his enduring entrepreneurial mindset. He took a chance on her and together they have created a bridal empire that isn't stopping any time soon. She is grateful to designers, such as Johnathan Kayne, a celebrity fashion designer who appeared on the hit television show Project Runway and became known for his very successful prom and pageant line as he serves as a role model and well of knowledge to Ms. Kincart. Most notably, she thanks the team members of all three companies. Without them, nothing would be possible.

Ms. Kincart began in the field on a part-time job basis selling prom dresses for commission while attending college full-time. She quickly turned that into a full-time management position, selling bridal gowns, prom dresses, tuxedos, and other formal wear in Iowa while still attending college full-time. Falling in love with the industry, she dropped out of college in her senior year to move states and begin growing Colby John's company- a dream she never intended on making a reality. Both of Ms. Kincart's parents are highly educated, her father obtained a bachelor's degree in industrial education, a master's degree in management, and a master's degree in human resource development. Her mother has a bachelor's degree in English and French, and a bachelor's degree in secondary education and has been an educator herself for almost 40 years. Leaving college in her senior year, she never expected her parents to support her the way they have. They encouraged her to follow her dreams and take this leap of faith that turned into something bigger than they ever imagined.

Giving back to worthy causes that are directly related to her industry, Ms. Kincart frequently donates to Brides for a Cause, a store that re-sells wedding gowns to raise money for charities. Since 2012, Brides for a Cause has donated over $1,750,000 to charities across the nation. She also contributes bridal gowns to several nonprofit bridal stores to be distributed to individuals with limited resources to purchase a wedding gown. Civically, Ms. Kincart is an activist for the LGBTQ+ community in the Twin Cities, the BLM movement, and an advocate for women's rights.
