Since 2021, he has focused his efforts on providing general cardiology as well as interventional treatments, and performing procedures such as coronary angiogram, peripheral angiogram, coronary angioplasty and peripheral angioplasty. He is an associate fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Physicians.
Prior to his current role, Dr. Ranjan began his career as a medical resident with Saint Mary's Hospital in 2010 and became an academic hospitalist and member of the hospital's teaching faculty in 2013. He was promoted to a clinical educator in 2016 and joined a cardiology fellowship at Bridgeport Hospital in 2017. He served as an assistant professor at Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine in Connecticut, and currently is an assistant professor of cardiology at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Washington state.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey in medicine, Dr. Ranjan earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences in India in 2005. He then did residency training in Internal Medicine followed by fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease as well as in Interventional Cardiology from Yale New Haven Hospital at Bridgeport Hospital. Well-qualified in his field, he is board certified in adult cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is board-certified in cardiovascular computed tomography. He is also a registered physician in vascular interpretation, certified by the board of nuclear cardiology by CNBC and certified in adult Echo-ASCeXAM by the National Board of Echocardiography.
Dr. Ranjan is passionate about utilizing the latest medical research and advancements to treat his patients.
