    NEWPORT BEACH, CA, January 11, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tulika Singh, MD, has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Drawing upon over 20 years of experience in the field of medicine, Dr. Singh excels as staff faculty and Clinical Assistant Professor at the UCI ID Division. She also supports DAP Health in Palm Springs, California, having served as director of research from 2019. Through DAP Health, she managed five research studies and oversees the team of research staff, having formerly served the organization as the associate chief medical officer and an HIV primary care and infectious disease specialist. In light of her vast breadth of knowledge, she has also served as a clinical assistant professor at the University of California Riverside.

Prior to obtaining her current roles, Dr. Singh gained valuable expertise in the field with the North Ottawa Community Health System as chief of medicine between 2014 and 2017, as well as the medical director of infectious disease and infection prevention and control and an internal medicine primary care physician from 2011 to 2017. She also served Mercy Health as an HIV specialist from 2012 to 2017 and was a graduate teaching assistant at the University of New Haven between 2003 and 2004.

Dr. Singh has worked as an advisory board member with Gilead Sciences, Inc., and Theratechnologies, Inc., and she is an expert speaker with ViiV Healthcare. Demonstrating versatility in her profession, she has also penned articles for several scientific and medical journals, including co-authoring the articles "Dolutegravir/lamivudine as a first-line regimen in a test-and-treat setting for newly diagnosed people living with HIV" in the AIDS Journal in 2021 and "Feasibility of utilizing dolutegravir/lamivudine in a rapid test and treat model for newly diagnosed HIV-1 infected adults" in ACTHIV in 2020, among others.

An expert in her field, Dr. Singh first earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, India, in 2000 and a Master of Science in health care administration and management from the University of New Haven in 2004. Subsequently, she completed an internship in internal medicine at Northside Medical Center in Youngstown, Ohio, in 2008, a residency in internal medicine at the St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown in 2009, and a fellowship in infectious disease at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee in 2011. Alongside her academic credentials, Dr. Singh holds certificates in such areas as HIV, infectious disease and internal medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Academy of HIV Medicine. To further her knowledge, she's currently enrolled in wellness and lifestyle certification course from the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine.

To remain abreast of changes in her field, Dr. Singh maintains affiliation with the HIV Medicine Association, the Infectious Diseases Society of America and the American College of Physicians, who elected her a fellow. As a testament to her professional excellence, she has received numerous accolades, including the George McCracken Fellow of the Year Award, an Excellence in Service Award from DAP Health, and the Excellence in Graduate Medical Education Award from Eisenhower Health. In 2022, she was also honored among the Top 50 Business Women of the Year in the Los Angeles Area. Though her career has been filled with highlights, she is especially proud of co-authoring the HIV primary care guidelines, which were published in 2020. In the coming years, Dr. Singh aims to open her own practice where she can incorporate integrative medicine with modern medicine. She would also like to conduct more research on HIV trials and emerging infectious diseases in clinical trials.
