Joannie A. Davis has been Inducted into the Prestigious Marquis Who's Who Biographical Registry

    PALM COAST, FL, January 12, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Joannie A. Davis has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

With more than three decades of excellence in education and mental health instruction, Ms. Davis has earned distinction as a Child Find Specialist with the North East Florida Educational Consortium. Since 2019, she has focused her efforts on counseling families, reaching out to them and conducting mental health screenings. She provides services for children from three to five years old, connecting them to resources within the school district or other community services. Additionally, she is a valued member of the Youth Mental Health National Council.

Prior to her current role, Ms. Davis worked with the Department of Education for 30 years until becoming a program coordinator, social worker and certified mental health first aid instructor for the North East Florida Educational Consortium in 2016, which she continues to the present.

Prior to embarking on her professional journey, Ms. Davis earned a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Edward Waters University. She then attained a Master of Arts in counselor education from Webster University in 2003. Well-qualified in her field, she is certified as a youth mental first aid trainer by the National Council for Behavioral Health.

Looking to the future, Ms. Davis intends to continue her dedicated work, maintaining her health to enable her to do so for as long as possible. Growing up, her own family experienced poverty due to her mother having repeated health challenges. Despite this, her mother became a home health aide, which inspired Ms. Davis to enter social work. She is passionate about helping others and supporting families in need to this day.
