Dr. Lee received a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines, in 1958. Additional educational pursuits to her credit include an internship at the Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago, followed by a residency in anesthesiology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago, a second residency in internal medicine at Vancouver Shaughnessy Hospital, and a fellowship in anesthesia at the Winnipeg General Hospital at the University of Manitoba, Canada. Dr. Lee received board certification in anesthesiology through the American Board of Anesthesiology and is licensed to practice medicine in New York.
To remain abreast in her field, Dr. Lee is a member of the New York State Society of Anesthesiologists. As a testament to her integrity in medicine, she was recognized with a Top Doctor Award in 2018. Dr. Lee also received a multitude of positive patient reviews and feedback, notably being voted One of the Best Anesthesiologists in New York in 2018. She credits her success to the support of her parents, who both taught her the importance of always putting patients above herself.
