Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Toda worked extensively with Nomura Securities Co. Ltd., the security branch of Nomura Holdings Inc. He originally joined the company in 2008 as an analyst in the wealth management department and later served as the company's vice president from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, he operated as an investment banker for the company between 2015 and 2016.
Before embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Toda pursued a formal education at Waseda University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Economics in 2008. As part of his academic efforts, he participated in an exchange student program with Portland State University between 2005 and 2006.
In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Toda largely attributes his success as an entrepreneur to his keen focus on solving social issues.
