While pursuing her undergraduate degree, Ms. Jansen was recognized by Southern Illinois University with an Outstanding Junior Award for Construction Management in 2021.

After interning for Holland Construction Services Inc. in Swansea, Illinois, from 2021 to 2022, Ms. Jansen accepted a full-time position as a project engineer for the organization in 2022. Excited for the opportunity, she specializes in construction management where she supports her project manager in the completion of various projects. Among other responsibilities, Ms. Jansen writes requests for information and is involved in the construction submittal process.
Presently, Ms. Jansen is engaged in the construction and interior renovation of the MidAmerica Saint Louis Airport, a small, local airport in Mascoutah, Illinois.
Notably, Holland Construction Services Inc. was founded more than 35 years ago by the company's chief executive officer Bruce Holland. It has since grown to become one of the most prominent contractors throughout the Saint Louis region and Southern Illinois. The full-service construction management, general contracting, and design/build firm has also garnered recognition with a multitude of awards as the Best Place to Work, as Builder of the Year, with a Safety Merit Award, and, among others, recognition for their dedication to community service.
A leader in her community, Ms. Jansen recently joined BCDC, a local organization that focuses on volunteering at area events. She also served as the president of Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville's student chapter of the American Concrete Institute.
Ms. Jansen graduated from Central Community High School and subsequently earned a bachelor's degree in construction management with a minor in business administration at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville in 2022. Additionally, Ms. Jansen completed five internships at various construction companies.
While pursuing her undergraduate degree, Ms. Jansen was recognized by Southern Illinois University with an Outstanding Junior Award for Construction Management in 2021. She also received several academic scholarships, including one from the National Association of Women in Construction.
Developing a passion for buildings when she was just a child, Ms. Jansen owes her success in the industry to her determination and passion. Looking toward the future of her career, Ms. Jansen's next goal includes securing the role of a project manager where she can continue to progress in the field.
