Through her professional endeavors, she oversees political and campaign training programs. In her work with the Congressional Black Caucus, Ms. Griddine works with the corporate council to coordinate public policy work, provides consultative data to the United Nations, and participates in the Global African Diaspora Initiative, which is focused on increasing the number of African Americans in international affairs.
Throughout her career, Ms. Griddine has gained valuable expertise as a senior presidential adviser with the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, a senior policy adviser with the U.S. House of Representatives, as deputy chief of staff for Congressman Alcee Hastings, and as director of projects for Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee. Alongside her work, she is a member of the board of directors for Porchlight Wellness and serves as co-chair of the board of trustees with the League of Minority Voters. In order to remain abreast of changes in the field, Ms. Griddine is a member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, the American Bar Association, the National Bar Association, Higher Heights, and Phi Alpha Delta, just to name a few.
An expert in her field, Ms. Griddine holds a Bachelor of Arts in public affairs from Columbia College. Subsequently, she expanded upon her professional knowledge earning a Juris Doctor degree from the Southern University Law Center, a Master of Laws in international law and legal studies from the University of Houston Law Center. She has further pursued studies in nonprofit leadership at Harvard Kennedy School and fashion law at the Fordham University's School of Law.
Over the years, Ms. Griddine has authored several works, including "If you aren't finding diverse campaign staff, you're not looking," and "Lessons from Successful African American Lawyers," which was released through Hope's Promising Publishing. In recognition of her professional achievements, she was named in Who's Who Among Notable Alumni. However, the highlight of her career was being the first African American woman to ever serve as a senior adviser for the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe Parliamentary Assembly and becoming the executive director of the Congressional Black Caucus Institute. Within the coming years, Ms. Griddine aims to expand Evolved Agenda Consulting and develop more programs for higher visibility for the Congressional Black Caucus Institute.
