Always wanting to leave his "carbon free footprint" on the planet, Mr. Richardson specializes in designing and manufacturing plastic, 3D printed and textile products. Since 2021, he has found much success as the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sioux City Plastics and Textiles (SCPT). In this capacity, he is responsible for creating innovative, high-quality and three-dimensional plastic and textile products. In addition to SCPT, he serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Lawton Lighthouse, LLC, a company that bridges the gap between idea and reality for individuals and businesses abroad, founded in December 2022. Prior to this role, Mr. Richardson was active as a senior accountant at Ho-Chunk Inc. from 2020 to 2021, and at Henjes, Conner and Williams PC from 2019 until 2020.
Mr. Richardson initially began his career as an accounting intern at the MidAmerican Museum of Aviation and Transportation in 2013. Following this post, he served as a tax preparer at Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc., while concurrently working as a bank teller at Central Bank in Iowa in 2014. Between 2015 and 2019, Mr. Richardson garnered expertise as an accountant at Quam, Berglin and Post PC, while contributing to Williams and Company PC as an accounting intern in spring 2015.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Richardson pursued an education at the Morningside University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting in 2015. He continued his academic efforts at the Southern New Hampshire University, earning enough credits to sit for his CPA exam. Long dedicated to civic advocacy, Mr. Richardson has volunteered at the local Friendship House in Sioux City, Iowa.
Well regarded for his contributions to the field, Mr. Richardson has changed the way products are brought to market, creating a business model unlike any other. Among his professional accomplishments, he is most proud of establishing Lawton Lighthouse, LLC, which provides numerous job opportunities for people domestically and internationally. Reflecting on his career, he attributes much of his success to the support of his family, especially his parents. Looking toward the future, Mr. Richardson aspires to expand the scope of his business, and hopes to eventually employ over 500 people in the next 3 years and establish headquarters in every continent in the next 5, while caring for the oceans through various company projects with their recycling efforts and initiatives.
