Among other highly regarded positions, he was the chief marketing and revenue officer at Panda Security between 2007 and 2014 and the chief operating and revenue officer at iTradeNetwork Inc. Furthermore, Mr. Cervantes co-founded and served as the chief executive officer of ClearPath Technologies Inc., which exited successfully to a global publically traded company. During an earlier stage of his career, he gained expertise at Procter & Gamble and Goldman Sachs.
As an extension of his contributions, Mr. Cervantes has served as a mentor and an event judge on behalf of IBM. Looking toward the future, Mr. Cervantes aims to acquire a series of board directorships where he can begin advising companies about how to scale their businesses.
Avid of giving back to worthy causes, Mr. Cervantes has been involved with an organization called Canine Companions for Independence since 1996 as a breeding program volunteer. The nonprofit notably breeds dogs to become service dogs.
Highly educated, Mr. Cervantes earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Mathematics and Statistics at the University of North East Mexico in 1984 and 1985, respectively. After immigrating to the U.S. in 1986, Mr. Cervantes began pursuing additional studies, earning a Master of Business Administration in Marketing and Investment Theory at the University of Texas at Austin in 1988.
Mr. Cervantes is a professional member of the Forbes Business Council, an organization devoted to senior executives and business owners.
