Dr. Perez is a professional member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the South Florida Veterinary Medical Association. Immigrating to the U.S. in 1995, Dr. Perez was grateful to pass the board and obtain her veterinary license in 2000. She notably studied medicine in her home country of Cuba, earning a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Las Villas in 1992. Since graduating from medical school, Dr. Perez has also completed numerous continuing education courses to remain abreast of changes in the field.
