SANDY SPRINGS, GA, February 21, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Benedict A. Esposito has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. Drawing on a decade in communications, Mr. Esposito is recognized for his expertise in technology. In his role as media and administrative specialist for the Office of Evangelization and Discipleship at the Roman Catholic Archdioceses of Atlanta, he is charged with maintaining the highest communications standards throughout his offices' websites, newsletters, surveys, event registrations, email blasts, database management, and more. Helping Mr. Esposito to excel in these pursuits is his comfort with technology and his ability to adapt to new software quickly and seamlessly.
Prior to joining the Archdiocese in 2017, Mr. Esposito honed his skills with several other notable organizations. He served as polar bear/guest ambassador at the Coca-Cola Company's World of Coca-Cola, assistant to the facilities manager at Holy Spirit Preparatory School and technical director at WKZR Milledgeville. As he was learning his craft, he completed an internship at Kicks 101.5 in Atlanta and served as a seasonal store associate/"hambassador" at HoneyBaked Ham. While studying at Georgia College and State University, he was a disc jockey and program manager at WGUR 95.3 The Noise, video producer for Campus Catholics, news reporter for GC 360 and staff reporter for The Colonnade newspaper. He earned a bachelor's degree, cum laude, in Mass Communications with a minor in history and rhetoric in 2015 while earning a Shining Star Award from the Department of Mass Communication.
Well regarded for his contributions to the field, Mr. Esposito has been featured in publications of Georgia College and the Archdiocesan newspaper, The Georgia Bulletin, as well as in local news. He was part of the 2018 Leadership Class for Catholic Charities Atlanta, a 2017 Ambassador of the Month for the Coca-Cola Company, a 2015 DJ of the Month at WGUR and the recipient of a WGUR Microphone Award.
Outside of work, Mr. Esposito is active with various charities. He is the webmaster and leadership team member for the Cathedral of Christ the King 20/30 Something's Young Adult group, does show notes for the Honest To God podcast on AM 1160 The Quest, and was recently secretary for GC Alumni Communications Affinity Group. In his free time, he enjoys going to oldies concerts, following his Atlanta sports teams, and trying out new sushi buffets.
