Mr. Kahn plays a collaborative part in sustaining the family business started by his father. In nearly thirty years with Kahn Construction, he advanced from the superintendent level, starting in 1996, to project manager in 2001, to senior project manager in 2020, and in 2022, he accepted the appointment to COO.
In his current role of Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Kahn currently manages the diverse responsibilities of Kahn Construction's comprehensive project management and operations, including budgeting, forecasting, estimating, cost engineering, and financial management. He interfaces daily with the firm's associates, project owners, partners, and subcontractors. Mr. Kahn takes great pride in every completed project and maintains a clear focus on budget constraints and compliance standards.
Exceptional academic training contributed to Mr. Kahn's professional progress. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, Business Management and Project Management from Colorado State University, Pueblo in 2001. Additionally, Mr. Kahn holds multiple licenses or certifications, including his Class B contractor license in Colorado, the International Code Council National Standard Building Contractor B, certification from the City and County of Denver Building Department, and safety training from OSHA and the state of Colorado.
Mr. Kahn attributes his success to hard work, reliability and a passion for the construction business. He remains dedicated to the niche industry and endeavors to make valuable contributions to elevate it. Looking to the future, Mr. Kahn aims to persist in advancing the firm toward its full potential and eventually move into a general manager position.
