Ms. Tupas is the Founder and Chief Advocate of School in a Backpack since 2015. Everything pioneers her singular and unique educational pedagogy, based on her coming book, "Courage First." The programs and workshops are geared towards creating confidence in parents and educators to partner with the children in their care when it comes to learning, championing the values of wonder and bravery.

Throughout her professional journey as a teacher, Ms. Tupas has confronted challenges, including students dealing with substance abuse, depression, suicide and bullying, by which advocacy has led her to her current success. Aside from her responsibilities as an educator, Ms. Tupas is affiliated with the Parent Led Academy/Soul Care Journey as a coach.

Ms. Tupas initially studied coursework in Psychology at De La Salle University, Manila, before graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Arts from De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde in 2005.

While still in college, Ms. Tupas' passion for media and the arts led her to launch her own multimedia arts production company, specializing in graphic design, websites, photography, video production, music videos and commercials, animation, and marketing for more than a decade. This experience resulted in her alma mater, De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde in the Philippines, recruiting her as a college professor to teach within the multimedia arts department.

Ms. Tupas subsequently earned expertise in marketing, communications, and public relations at PeopleBrowsr Inc. in Sydney, Australia, from 2010 to 2015, as a Consultant for Getaround in the San Francisco Bay area between 2013 and 2015, and as a Social Media Manager for several organizations in the Philippines, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the United States from 2014 to 2017. Furthermore, Ms. Tupas provided curriculum as a resource for the Victory Christian International School and the Department of Education in the Philippines, and education as a teacher to middle school students at Homeschoolers PH in Pasig, Philippines, from 2015 to 2017.

Outside of her primary career objectives, Ms. Tupas is a talented writer, having contributed articles to My Health Mags in Australia from 2016 to 2017. She also held the Managing Editor post for Experience Travel and Living Magazine in 2007. Moving forward, Ms. Tupas plans to release her book, "Courage 1st", in 2023, and hopes to begin writing children's books in the near future.

Extremely active in her community, Ms. Tupas was volunteering as a Sunday School teacher and as an art therapy and assistant photography educator for adults during her time in the Philippines. For more than 30 years, she has been active in the Philippine Bible Christian Community, and in Every Nation / Victory, Philippines for more than 20 years. She co-directed the My Shelter Foundation's Millennium Schools International Design Competition in 2006-2007, and the launch of the Design Against the Elements project in 2010. Ms. Tupas also volunteers as a senior officer of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary since 2010, and is the Executive Vice President of the International Women Artists, New York, in 2022.

In the last few years, she has extended her vocation to partnering with Fort Apache Indian Reservation establishing to better serve her White Mountain Apache Tribe students in education-centered projects.

Recently, she was chosen to present at the 2021 National Arts Educators Association Conference, the 2021 Neuroscience in the Classroom Virtual International Conference, and the latest, at the Kennedy Center Office of VSA and Accessibility in 2022 and the Teacher Travel Summit 2022.
