Marquis Who's Who Selects Frank Stevens for Excellence in Aviation

    INDIANAPOLIS, IN, February 28, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Frank Stevens has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Since 2018 Mr. Stevens has been representing the Global MRO Centers for Embraer as the company's vice president of Global MRO Centers. A global aerospace company headquartered in Brazil, Embraer is recognized as the world's third-largest aircraft manufacturing company and the world's leading aircraft manufacturer of regional jets. Contributing to the organization as an expert in aviation maintenance and engineering, Mr. Stevens manages the organization's maintenance, repair, and overhaul, business for commercial aviation, executive aviation, and defense aviation throughout the globe. In his role he develops his team through strategic decision elements and daily operational support to ensure customer satisfaction and quality aircraft and component maintenance.

Prior to his role with Embraer, Mr. Stevens worked with Republic Airways in Indianapolis, Indiana, through which he served as the director of engineering from 2010 to 2017. During this time he also served in the same role for Frontier Airlines in Indianapolis between 2010 and 2012. Among other noteworthy roles, he was the chief executive officer at Zelex Aerospace Solutions LLC from 2008 to 2011, an engineering coordinator for ASTAR Air Cargo between 2005 and 2009, and a maintenance and base manager and technical support specialist for PSA Airlines Inc. between the years of 2000 and 2005. During his years in the U.S. Navy, 1992-2000, Mr. Stevens honorably served as a heavy lift combat support naval aircrewman and power plant mechanic on board the MH-53E, CH-53E, King Air and the SA-227 Metroliner.

Mr. Stevens received a Federal Communications Commission license through the Electronics School of America and an Airframe and Powerplant license through the American Airman School. He also achieved an Associate of Applied Science in aviation maintenance, with honors, from Eastern New Mexico University at Roswell. Moreover, Mr. Stevens received credentials as a Level I product management certification through the Pragmatic Institute in 2022.

In 2015, Mr. Stevens was recognized by Top 100 Magazine as a Top Engineering Professional in America. He credits his success to his wife for championing his career throughout 30 plus years in the aviation industry. He also notes his military service as the significant and structural foundation of this safety and quality minded career choice.
