Leveraging more than four decades of excellence in welding and hydraulic component manufacturing, Mr. Cassidy has earned distinction as the president of Wisconsin Waterjet, Inc. since 2016, a company he started from scratch. He has focused his efforts on running the company's primary machine equipment while packing, shipping and delivering parts as needed, while expanding his business to two locations in the state. Outside of his primary career efforts, he also serves in an administrative role with Wausau Hydraulics and Machine, Inc. Prior to his current role, Mr. Cassidy began his career in 1983, serving many roles, most in management for JARP Industries Inc. continuing in this role until 2015.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Cassidy completed coursework in business management and gained certification as a welder from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in 1983. Additionally, he is a trained ISO auditor and holds a Six Sigma black belt.
Within the coming years, Mr. Cassidy intends to focus more effort on immersing himself in the hydraulics business, further expanding his company and mentoring the next generation of professionals in the field. As part of this goal, he is training his two sons to take over his water jet business.
