GLENDALE, AZ, March 07, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sean E. Reavie is a distinguished biographee of Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are chosen from among a pool of the most prominent professionals and are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Reavie, a 15-year law enforcement veteran, works as a school resource officer, is a highly decorated police officer, and spent six years as a child crimes detective. During this period, he investigated more than 1,500 cases of physical and sexual abuse involving young children as well as adolescents and teenagers. In order to determine potential suspects, Mr. Reavie regularly interviewed victims of abuse and helped them gather the courage to recount their horrific experiences.

In 2015, Mr. Reavie interviewed a 9-year-old male who had been traumatized to the point where he was too frightened to disclose any information about his abuser. In an attempt to break the child's silence, he asked him "Who is your favorite superhero?" The question elicited a dramatic change in the child's temperament. His face became enveloped with joy as he professed his love for numerous popular superheroes such as Iron Man, Ant Man and The Avengers. Sharing their mutual affinity for superheroes empowered the child to trust Mr. Reavie and reveal the identity of his abuser, who was subsequently arrested.

Following this life-altering interview, Mr. Reavie organized a charitable event that solicited donations of superhero action figures and t-shirts for victims of child abuse. The tremendous outpour of donations from his local community inspired him to establish Put on the Cape: A Foundation for Hope, which enlists professional costumed actors and actresses to portray superheroes at 11 child advocacy centers across two U.S. states. All actors must obtain fingerprint clearance, be trained in adverse childhood experiences, and tour a child advocacy center before becoming members. Put on the Cape additionally hosts fundraisers throughout various regions of Arizona and has generated hundreds of thousands of dollars towards the aforementioned centers since the organization's inception in 2015.

Alongside his responsibilities as the president and chief executive officer of Put on the Cape, Mr. Reavie works as a school resource officer on a full-time basis. In 2016, he obtained a Master of Arts in organizational leadership from Northern Arizona University. Mr. Reavie's book "Rebel without a Clue" is to be published on June 25th. His second book titled "Soul Shine" will be published in June of 2023. Mr. Reavie will then publish a trilogy of books about his life as a 40-year-old rookie police officer and subsequent years in 2027 after he retires.

During his law enforcement career, Mr. Reavie was selected as the Police Officer of the Year on behalf of the state of Arizona on two occasions. He has also been celebrated with his police department's Distinguished Service Award. Mr. Reavie attributes a great deal of his success to his father's ardent passion for cars, which inspired him to organize his own events for the benefit of other people. In the coming years, he intends to expand Put on the Cape across all 50 U.S. states while helping aspiring philanthropists establish similar organizations by replicating Put on the Cape's innovative business model.
