Prior to her initial recruitment at Northside Hospital Atlanta in 2019, Dr. Williams thrived as a pharmacist with Emory Healthcare between 2018 and 2020. She had previously found success as a medical oncology clinical pharmacist at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and Washington Cancer Institute. In order to stay up to date with the latest developments in her field, Dr. Williams maintains active affiliations with the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association (HOPA) and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).
In 2022, Dr. Williams was distinguished as the "Pharmacist of the Year" on behalf of the Atlanta Academy of Institutional Pharmacy in addition to "40 Under 40 in Cancer." She attributes a great deal of her success to the support of her family and friends as well as her personal and professional mentors. In the coming years, Dr. Williams intends to play an instrumental role in increasing the utilization of genomic testing and sequencing in cancer treatment across the United States.
