SAN RAFAEL, CA, March 10, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sophillia C. Tagaban has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

For the past few years, Ms. Tagaban has focused on continually developing her company, Heart Blaster. Initially founded by her daughter Janelle and her daughter's father, the clothing company was formed to promote equality while nurturing the world around us through creative space. Taking over the company in 2017, she began by serving as a designer and visionary by tapping into her creative side and incorporating her children's artwork to spearhead its unique brand. Shortly thereafter, Ms. Tagaban took on the role of project design coordinator in 2021.

Heart Blaster is notably a brand designed for youth and young adults whose mission is to bring awareness to pressing social issues. Offering a wide range of clothing options, such as its signature jean jacket, Heart Blaster also sells a unique lip balm and a tint collection. Its emblem, which includes a heart with three letter Xs, symbolizes unity and respect. As a "heart blaster," Ms. Tagaban notes, you represent the organization by spreading positivity and living your life with intention. The company tagline is notably "Made by Good People for Good People."

Ms. Tagaban established Heart Blaster Clothing LLC as the managing and creative director and chief executive officer. She is now owner of Heart Blaster Kids, Heart Blaster Young Adult, and furthermore, Ms. Tagaban was recently approved for Heart Blaster Inc. (heartblaster.org) to serve as a nonprofit organization through which people can donate and contribute to the cause to make a positive impact in the lives of youth so they can thrive in community.

Looking toward the future, Ms. Tagaban's goal is to continue challenging the norm by doing things differently with her nonprofit. She also aims to set an example of what they could do instead of what they are doing already.

For her contributions to the fashion industry, and community, Ms. Tagaban and her organization have been featured in Go Solo, Buzzfeed, Shoutout Social, Young Entertainment Magazine, Business Mogul Magazine, Benzinga, and Girl's Life magazine. She also received a Heart Blaster Letter of Recognition from the Mid-Peninsula Boys and Girls Club for her work at the height of Covid supporting students with a creative online workshop, supporting students and the Youth of the Year. Giving back, Ms. Tagaban and her organization Heart Blaster Clothing contributed to the Know Your Rights Campaign 2020 in support of former National Football League player Colin Kaepernick and standing up against racism and systemic and institutional oppression.

Ms. Tagaban studied human services at Cabrillo College, having notably enrolled at the age of 30 as the mother of four. During her studies, she became interested in community work. She found the support of several professors who challenged her to pursue her passion, make an impact, and create lasting change. Despite her original intention of earning a degree in social work, she focused on making a statement through art and design, and a business plan that would empower youth through her collaborations and nonprofit work.

Although Ms. Tagaban had to overcome numerous obstacles while coming of age; she envisions a much better life for her children, and others; one consumed by a positive, loving, structured environment where they can speak their truths, feel supported, gain tools, resources, and create positive successful lives for themselves and in community.
