As a senior business analyst, Mr. Cooper is responsible for accessing opportunities for the company and its affiliated entities to improve and revamp both processes and workflow. He also serves as a chief liaison between business and information technology concerning various types of projects.
Having been with CATIC since 2005, Mr. Cooper first served as a senior claims paralegal at the firm's Rocky Hill, Connecticut headquarters. He subsequently became a business manager from 2013 to 2016 and a business analyst of special projects between 2016 and 2018.
To achieve his professional goals, Mr. Cooper pursued an education at Albertus Magnus College, having earned an Honors Associate of Science in Business in 2011, a Summa Cum Laude Bachelor of Science in Business Management in 2013, and an Honors Master of Science in Management and Organizational Leadership in 2018. Mr. Cooper is notably a member of Kappa Gamma Pi (National Catholic Graduate Honor Society). He also earned a diploma in paralegal studies from Branford Hall Career Institute in 2001.
In 2018, Mr. Cooper was honored to serve as a guest speaker at his alma mater, Albertus Magnus College. Looking toward the future, he aspires to secure a position as a vice president for an organization so that he can be more of an influence on process and have more authority to coach both employees and departments. Blessed with an eye for efficiency, Mr. Cooper credits his success in the industry to his constant desire for improvement. He also attributes his perseverance, his desire to never stop learning, and his ability to demonstrate results. Aside from his aspirations in the industry, Mr. Cooper intends to become an entrepreneur by opening a local Christmas tree farm.
Additionally, Mr. Cooper has received approximately 20 licenses and certifications over the past decade, including numerous credentials from Microsoft and Laserfiche, a software development company in Long Beach, CA; appointment as a notary public in the state of Connecticut; certification in Continuous Improvement/LEAN from CONNSTEP; and certification in applied data science from MIT.
In light of his career accomplishments, Mr. Cooper received numerous accolades, including two awards from Laserfiche: Most Significant Process Improvement (2016) and Innovation, Creativity and Inspiration Regional Choice-North America (2020), and he was an Empower Guest Speaker honoree with Laserfiche in 2016.
