Having joined The Blau & Berg Company in Short Hills, New Jersey, in 2003, Mr. Conte rose from a sales associate to shareholder and principal. Since 2017, he has served as an executive vice president and principal, managing capital markets, client growth, supply chain, and logistics. Additionally, he has become well-versed in industrial site selection and landlord and tenant representation, managing commercial investment sales, industrial and retail leasing, and industrial sales. Celebrating 20 years in the industry, Mr. Conte serves on his company's advisory board. Looking toward the future, he aims to continue to help expand the organization both in productivity and quality by strategic hirings and training. He has been, and will continue to mentor many up-and-coming industry professionals to achieve their professional goals.
Avid of the importance of community service, Mr. Conte has been active as a board member for the downtown advisory commission and the environmental commission and as a zoning board member for the Township of Cedar Grove, New Jersey. He has also been involved with his alma mater, William Patterson University of New Jersey, as a donor and member of the Cotsakos College of Business advisory and advancement board. Additionally, Mr. Conte is a parishioner and volunteer at St. Catherine of Siena in Cedar Grove.
Mr. Conte graduated from Wayne Valley High School. He subsequently achieved a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Movement Science at William Patterson University of New Jersey in 2003 and completed additional financial courses at New York University. Additional educational pursuits to Mr. Conte's credit include becoming a certified commercial investment member and receiving credentials as a licensed broker in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Florida.
To remain aware of developments in his field, Mr. Conte is a member, immediate past president of the New Jersey chapter, and acting regional director of the northeast region of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR). He is also a member of and is regularly with the National Association of Realtors, the International Council of Shopping Centers, and the National Association for Industrial and Office Parks.
Mr. Conte has been recognized several times for his professional achievements, including a 20-Year Milestone Award from The Blau & Berg Company in 2023. He also received the Largest Office Deal Award in 2021 and the Largest Land Deal Award in 2020 from the New Jersey chapter of SIOR. Moreover, Mr. Conte was named Real Estate Forum Top Broker in 2013, has consistently been named Top Broker by The Blau & Berg Company every year since 2006, and has been featured in the Mid Atlantic Real Estate Journal's 40 Under 40.
