Prior to starting his private career, Mr. Darlington served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. In recognition of his dedicated service, he was honored with a Bronze Star Medal. Following his military service, he worked with employee relations for the Union Carbide Corporation. Prior to embarking on his professional journey, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in accounting from Pfeiffer University in 1971.
