In this capacity, he is responsible for negotiations, budgeting, operations management, sales, window manufacturing and marketing. Prior to this role, he was active first as window builder, warehouse manager, office manager and finally a general manager at Masonry and Glass Systems of Texas from 2002 until 2018. He initially began his career serving as an automotive parts courier at the National Automotive Parts Association (NAPA) from 1996 to 1997. Following this post. Mr. Stevens garnered expertise as a lead technician at Compton's Lamps and Shades between 1997 and 2001.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Stevens completed coursework at St. Philips College majoring in Business Administration. As a commitment to his field, he has been active with several industry-related organizations, including the Texas Masonry Council, the Better Business Bureau, the National Association of Home Builders and the National Association of the Remodeling Industry. Likewise dedicated to civic advocacy, Mr. Stevens contributes to the National Federation of Independent Business, American Veterans (AMVETS) as well as the Texas Coalition of Police and Sheriffs. As a sports enthusiast, Mr. Stevens has volunteered in the past as a youth basketball coach with Upward Sports and served as a board member and baseball coach for the Greater Northeast Little League. Additionally, from years 2015 to 2020, Mr. Stevens operated his own adult recreational men's and co-ed softball league in his hometown of Kirby, Texas.
