Timothy F. Lawlor is an Irish immigrant, born into an Irish American farming family. Tim was an early school dropout, concluding his formal schooling at the age of 15, and began his apprenticeship in engineering in his home county of Kerry. Aged 26, lured by the rejuvenation of Germany in 1991, Tim began his immigrant journey from a depressed Ireland with stop overs in England; Germany (where he first became acquainted with Böhringer) and eventually to the USA in 2009 to help grow the North American Böhringer subsidiary.
Leveraging more than three decades of excellence in comminution equipment design, manufacturing and professional advisory to the Weir Group, John Deere and Caterpillar, Mr. Lawlor has earned distinction as the chief operations officer and major stakeholder of Böhringer Group Ltd. Based in Alberta, Canada, Böhringer Group is an original equipment manufacturer that designs and builds a diverse product portfolio that includes aggregate and mineral processing machinery; concrete batch plants and recycling equipment capable of recovering, reusing and converting concrete, asphalt and road base into new building materials.
Böhringer has long been a front runner of innovative product design and Tim has worked tirelessly to preserve the tradition of excellence – ensuring that the brand remains at the forefront of the global market and that its product line meets the modern-day demand for cutting edge engineering and build integrity.
