HUNTINGTOWN, MD, March 20, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Ronald J. Dolecki with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Dolecki celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Dolecki is a retired intelligence analyst and award-winning U.S. Army veteran who devoted his career to serving the nation's best interests. Recruited by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in 1971, he spent more than 30 years as a central intelligence officer. During his illustrious professional career, Mr. Dolecki garnered recognition for his expertise in interpreting satellite photographs. He also conducted extensive research on the command-and-control communications networks in various countries hostile to the United States. Furthermore, he contributed more than 50 intelligence reports and a training manual in his area of expertise.

Choosing to pursue a career with the CIA, Mr. Dolecki notes, stemmed from his experience in the military as a topographic engineer. After being discharged from the U.S. Army, he earned a college degree but could not find work in his field due to a hiring freeze. Shortly after submitting his resume to the federal government, he was invited to visit Washington to attend the CIA recruitment process. Mr. Dolecki subsequently spent three months completing a satellite interpretation course after officially being hired.

After concluding his long and successful career with the CIA, Mr. Dolecki was affiliated with Booz Allen Hamilton, a government and military contractor specializing in intelligence, from 2004 to 2006. He subsequently found success with Courage Services Inc., a subsidiary of CENTRA Technology that provides human geography data and socio-cultural analysis services, between 2006 and 2008. Among other noteworthy roles, Mr. Dolecki was employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. He also served as a photographic interpreter for the National Photographic Interpretation Center/National Imagery and Mapping Agency (now National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency) and the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers.

In 2019, Mr. Dolecki authored an unpublished autobiography, "From High School to Africa Via the U.S. Army." He is a 1970 graduate of Clarion State College (now Pennsylvania Western University), having earned a bachelor's degree.

Recognizing his accomplishments, Mr. Dolecki was twice featured on the front page of The Baltimore Sun newspaper. In the field, he received a Team Appreciation Award from Booz Allen Hamilton, an award and plaque from the National Security Agency, two First Place Tradecraft Awards, two Report of the Year Awards, and nine Exceptional Accomplishment/Exceptional Performance Awards from various components of the CIA. However, his most notable recognition was the coveted Distinguished Civilian Service Medal, recognized as the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency's highest award. It was notably presented to Mr. Dolecki by James Clapper, the head of intelligence of the U.S.

In recognition of his service in the U.S. Army, Mr. Dolecki was decorated with a Prisoner of War Medal, a Good Conduct Medal, and a National Defense Medal. He also received several other accolades, including a Meritorious Unit Citation, an Operation Desert Storm Service Award, and an Operation Enduring Freedom Award.
