Prior to obtaining her current position, Ms. Widenor worked as the president of the Zonta Club of Cape Coral and as an assistant kitchen and bath designer for The Design Studio By Raymond, where she has served as an assistant to multiple cabinet designers and builders.
During the early stages of her career, Ms. Widenor gained valuable expertise in customer service, inventory management, sales, and more through SunCoast Contractors Supply, Inc., Child, Inc., and Lumbermens Merchandising Corporation. Outside of her work, she contributes to her community as a volunteer at Pine Island Food Bank and Pine Island Thrift Store. Likewise, Ms. Widenor has served as an advocacy coordinator and service coordinator for Zonta International and as a volunteer with the National Brain Tumor Society.
An expert in her field, Ms. Widenor earned a Bachelor of Social Work from Misericordia University in 2002. Subsequently, she began her studies for a certificate in mental health counseling, which she will receive from Light University in May 2023. The cornerstone of her success lay with her parents, who have supported her throughout her career. Within the next five to ten years, Ms. Widenor aims to educate younger generations on not being afraid to speak out when they see something wrong.
