Over the years, Mr. Hickcox has gained considerable expertise in the field with Cross Bone Outfitters and served his country in the United States Marine Corps as an operations chief.
Outside of his work, Mr. Hickcox sponsors events for veterans in Florida, supports local youth sports teams, and serves as a volunteer with Operation Bass Warrior, a fishing tournament. Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, he maintains membership with The Warriors Council, a conglomerate of veteran business owners. An expert in his field, Mr. Hickcox completed intelligence and intelligence operations studies at Cochise College. Likewise, he is certified in interrogations and close personal surveillance and became a certified strategic debriefer.
Throughout his career, Mr. Hickcox has been recognized many times, earning a Bronze Star Medal in 2008 and a Joint Meritorious Service Medal in 2019. While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in his time in the military during Afghanistan combat operations in 2008. Although his platoon engaged in combat operations almost daily, they only had one casualty due to a rollover accident rather than an encounter with opposing forces. Another standout moment was receiving the Joint Meritorious Service Medal after working for Special Operations Command South. The cornerstone of his overall success lay in his father, a swimmer in the 1968 Olympics and member of the International Swimming Hall of Fame, who instilled in him a great work ethic and fostered his tenacious nature. Within the coming years, Mr. Hickcox aims to experience the continued growth and success of Crossed Industries, L.L.C.
