Angelia L. Boynton has been Inducted into the Prestigious Marquis Who's Who Biographical Registry

Angelia L. Boynton is recognized for her influential political and educational leadership



Since 2015, she has focused her efforts on handling taxes for different states and assisting businesses, individuals and corporate accounts with their payroll.

    OCALA, FL, March 27, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Angelia L. Boynton has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Leveraging more than three decades of excellence as political leadership her local political sphere, has earned distinction having worked with prominent candidates, 2004 Bush/Cheney, Judge Willard Pope, John McCain, Senator Rick Scott, and worked with several political candidate's campaigns, and running for 2010 office successfully herself. Ms. Boynton, founder, president and chief executive officer of The Boynton Firm LLC and since 2003, Instant Tax Group & Associates focuses her efforts on financial accounting. Prior to her current role, she studied at University of Florida in mathematics and psychology, began her career as a pharmacy technician with Shand's Hospital of the University of Florida Health in 1979. She subsequently created pharmacy health IV therapy policies, guidelines and manuals for Bittings Pharmacy in 1990.

Also dedicated to civil and educational advocacy, Ms. Boynton has lent her expertise to numerous organizations over the course of her career, including the Ocala Royal Dames for Cancer Research, Ra-Khor Enterprises, Pace., NAACP, the Samaritan Corporation of Pasco, Inc. and the National & Florida Federation of Republican Women, among others. She was an elected member, chair, vice chair, and member for the School Board of Marion County from 2010 until 2018. Under the Florida School Boards Association, she served as District board of directors for Marion, Citrus and Hernando Counties and served on Multicultural Diversity, Finance, and Legislation Committees. She established a library in her local church giving youth an opportunity to read at home. And, she established the Boynton Memorial Education Scholarship as an investment in students in Marion County.

Among her professional accomplishments, Ms. Boynton has been named to the list of Outstanding Black Republicans by the Florida Federation of Black Republicans in 2007 and was honored with a Community Achievement Award by Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in 2008. In 2009, she was named Marion County Republican of the Year and received an Outstanding Service Award from the Marion County Republican Women in 2011. She was inducted to the Black History Museum of Marion County in 2014 and the AKA-First Black Female Marion Countywide Election and was given the Cancer Pink Pathway Journey Award by the Republican Women Ocala/Marion Federated in 2022. That same year, she was honored as an Outstanding Volunteer with the organization as well.

An accomplished songwriter, musician and journalist as well, Ms. Boynton authored "Seasons Change: A Collection of Poems" with Archway Publishing in 2015 and has contributed to the Mahogany Revue Newspaper. She was the writer and producer under the name "Ja'Leah" and is a finalist songwriter award for "Pardon Me" for 2022, finishing as a runner-up for the Song of the Year for her work on "Break You Back" in 2018. In recognition of her stellar talents, she was admitted to the Songwriters Guild of America and serves as an executive voting member for the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Well-qualified in her field, Ms. Boynton is certified by the National Notary Association, the Florida Notary Association and the National Directory of Registered Tax Return Preparers and Professionals Ltd. She completed training programs with the Citizen's Marion County Academy, the Citizen's Police Academy and the Leadership Institute and is a certified school board member with the Florida School Boards Association. She also holds certifications from the National Association of Tax Professionals. Within the coming years, Ms. Boynton intends to retire to spend more time focusing on her writing, with the goal of publishing another book.
