Leveraging more than two decades of excellence in software engineering, Mr. Samsonov has earned distinction as a software engineer with Cisco. Since 2015, he has focused his efforts on designing data flow and processing pipelines for data ingestion and analysis while successfully launching the company's Built Environment Security/Engineering Service Model project. He also consults on migrating their Integrated Release Tooling platform onto new technology stacks. Additionally, he lends his expertise as a camera operator and clerk of course for the Triangle Aquatic Center.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Samsonov began his career as a software engineer with Telcordia Technologies in 2000 and then served in a similar role with ATT&T in 2001. He subsequently was the chief information officer for Bridge Information Technology in 2002 and served as a software engineer for Verizon in 2003. He continued his career with the Global Consulting Group of South Easton, Massachusetts in 2005 and with the Publishing Technology in 2006 until becoming a senior software engineer for Overstock.com in 2008. Following this time, he was an e-commerce developer with Performance Bicycle in 2011 and became a senior subject matter expert for Sensus in 2013. The same year, he took a role with CA Technologies as a senior automation engineer. Among his professional achievements, he is proud to have received a GATS Horizon Award from the Cisco EngIT Organization in 2016.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Samsonov earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Informatics from the National Technical University of Ukraine in 1997. He then attained a Management Information Systems degree from the University of Phoenix in 2010. Well-qualified in his field, he is also certified by Cisco in ONEx Agile fundamentals.
