Backed by years of professional experience, Mr. Breakey presently serves as a senior reliability and quality engineer for Dwiggins Consulting LLC, which provides support for a wide range of artificial lift projects. Previously, he worked as the vice president of Submersible Pumps, Inc., a service delivery, planning, training, operations, operations support, and technical support manager for Schlumberger; and as a senior project engineer, senior application engineer, technical support specialist, and field service technical specialist for REDA Pump Company. In his work with Schlumberger, Mr. Breakey created a three-year training and development program that was instrumental in developing other engineers.
During the early stages of his career, Mr. Breakey apprenticed with Caterpillar in 1982. Driven to expand upon his technical knowledge, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2009 and has maintained affiliation with the Society of Petroleum Engineers. Alongside his wife, Mr. Breakey gives back to his community via a number of organizations, including the Tulsa Girls Art School, which provides an after-school art and youth development program for at-promise girls.
Considering his outstanding body of work, Mr. Breakey won the Bronze Award for a performance-based runlife contract in Indonesia and the Platinum Chairman's Award for a web-based knowledge system called InTouch from Schlumberger. While his career has been filled with many standout accomplishments, he takes the most pride in authoring a 600-page technical service manual. The completion of the manual was made possible by working alongside design and manufacturing engineers to understand and then convey their expertise to how it relates to technicians. Within the next five to ten years, Mr. Breakey intends to experience the continued growth and success of his career with Dwiggins Consulting LLC.
