Ms. Anand leverages more than 20 years of experience in the field of supply chain management, primarily specializing in ocean, air, road, inland execution and implementing supply chain platforms in the ocean and logistics industry for industry leaders such as AP Moller Maersk group, DHL and Bollore Logistics. She currently holds the position of Head of Program management, multi verticals and Incubation for AP Moller Maersk Group, USA since 2022. As part of her duties, she oversees end-to-end supply chain management for many of the company's prestigious customers in the automotive, industrial, chemicals, FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) and cold chain logistics. Ms. Anand originally started with A.P. Moller – Maersk at the onset of her career in 2000, maintaining a position as an International Management trainee until 2002. During her initial 13 year tenure with the company, she operated in several noteworthy positions, including as Trade lane manager for Intra-Asia and Australia trades in Singapore, Customer service and Sales manager, India, a General Manager and Global Head of Inside sales in Denmark, and the Head of customer service for South and East India. Prior to her current appointment within the business, Ms. Anand excelled for DHL Global Forwarding and Bollore Logistics in commercial roles as well as deploying supply chain platforms for North and South America until 2022.
Before embarking on her vocational journey, Ms. Anand pursued a formal education at the University of Madras, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Commerce and a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing. In addition to her academic credentials, she holds several pertinent certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, as well as CargoWise certified specialist and a Predictive Index Analyst. Furthermore, she has completed several programs from A.P. Moller – Maersk, including certified coaching in customer care, organizational leadership, chartering and international shipping management.
In light of her fulfilling career, Ms. Anand has largely attributed her success to her family who have served as a constant source of support, inspiration and motivation. Furthermore, she is driven by her desire to create an impact in supply chain dynamics for traditional industries.
