Leveraging more than five decades of excellence in physics research, Dr. Back has earned distinction as a senior physicist at Argonne National Laboratory near Chicago. Since 2003, he has focused his efforts on innovative nuclear physics research, having overseen three large projects of instrument development, including a spectrometer based on a large MRI magnet.
