Leveraging more than two decades of excellence in culinary arts, Mr. Williams has earned distinction as the owner and chef for The Kitchen Flavors, LLC. Since 2021, he has focused his efforts on creating and selling artisan spice blends. Additionally, he served on the board of directors for the Greater Albuquerque Innkeepers Association and was a valued member of the New Mexico Food Safety Network within the New Mexico Partnership for HACCP Education.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Williams strengthened his career as a certified hospitality educator from the American Hotel and Lodging Education Institute in 2000. Following this time, he was the chef for the Soaring Eagle Lodge from 2007 until 2020. Additionally, he has served as a chef mentor through NRAEF ProStart for Rio Rancho High School of the Rio Rancho Public Schools. He has also lent his expertise to the Tourism Association of New Mexico, graduate of Leadership Albuquerque within the Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce, and Board of Director of the Albuquerque Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Williams earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Wright State University in 1985. Following this achievement, he attained an Associate of Applied Science in culinary arts from Central New Mexico Community College in 1996. While at Wright State University, he proudly participated in the Model United Nations program, achieving superior and outstanding awards for the college and himself culminating with his membership in Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honor society. Well-qualified in his field, he is a certified professional food manager, ServSafe manager instructor.
Within the coming years, Mr. Williams intends to continue growing his company. Having survived a stroke in 2019, he is working on protecting his health and improving his balance, enabling him to resume his hobbies of fly fishing and skiing.
