After entering the sector as a Corporate Recruiter for Residential Finance Corporation in Tampa, Florida, Ms. Anderson followed a path that included increasingly senior positions. She went on to serve as a Business Development Manager at NFM Lending before joining Academy Mortgage Corporation, where she excelled as National Business Development Manager and was promoted to Vice President of National Recruiting after bringing on over a billion in production.
In commemoration of her many accomplishments, Ms. Anderson was named to the 40 of the Most Influential Mortgage Executives under the age of 40 in the United States, awarded by National Mortgage Professional Magazine in 2019. She was named Rookie of the Year by NFM Lending in 2013 and was recognized as a Top-selling Agent for Health Plan Services in 2005. She has been featured in articles on Yahoo Finance, Fox Business News, NEXT Mortgage Events, National Mortgage Professional, American Business Media, Mortgage Daily News, and Top Women in Mortgage. She is active with the Society for Human Resource Management and the Mortgage Bankers Association.
Though her professional and education journeys have been filled with many memorable moments, Ms. Anderson is most proud to be a mom to her wonderful nine-year-old son. In addition to spending time with him, she enjoys serving her community with such organizations as Catholic Charities, the Women's Safe House, and the American National Red Cross.
