Since 2000, she has focused her efforts on restoration work and decorative painting, operating as an independent contractor and working with colleagues when needed. Among her professional accomplishments, she is proud to have received a grant from Dewey Albert to support her work.
Prior to her current role, Ms. Loebelsohn began her career working with Evergreene Painting Studios and then served as a billboard painter in New York City with Transportation Displays Inc. in 1986. She became an artist with Creative Finishes, Ltd in 1995 and served in this role until 2000. Prior to embarking on her professional journey, Ms. Loebelsohn earned a Bachelor of Fine Art in painting from the Pratt Institute in 1982.

Ms. Loebelsohn is married to David Rubel and has two sons. Jacob (24) and Carl (16). She resides in Brooklyn, New York.
