Following this time, he served as a senior vice president for Fleishman Hillard Government Relations in 2000 where he founded a successful international economic and related strategies practice. He then joined the well-regarded law firm of Miller and Chevalier Chartered in 2005 as a Principal. He was a leader of the firm's international trade and investment practice group. During this time, he also was an adjunct fellow with the Americas program and then was an advisory board member for the Southeast Asia program of the Center for Strategic and International Studies in 2004 until 2017.

Mr. Huenemann also points to the inspiration from what he learned in the Treasury Department and the Trade Representative's Office, where he represented the country in international negotiations on global trade, investment and related security issues. He then utilized this experience to provide a backdrop that informed his business and corporate decision making relating to where and how to invest and where to focus attention as a strategic business matter to most effectively benefit shareholders, employees of corporate entities and society.

Mr. Huenemann earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Stockton University. Following this achievement, he attained a Master of Arts in International Development Economics from American University. He intends to continue his advisory work and consider other opportunities.
