Additionally, he lends his expertise as a member of Microsoft User Groups and conducts charitable work through the Sathya Sai Organization, helping to feed homeless people at the PIP Shelter in Worcester.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Modur began working as a programmer in late 90s, as an application developer with Intrinsic Therapeutics in 2006, and as a senior developer with Philips LifeLine in 2010. He subsequently functioned as an interactive developer with Epsilon in 2012 until taking a role as a software developer with Predicata in 2015.The following year, he served as a senior application analyst with Lifespan and was subsequently a software developer with Excel Global Solutions in 2017. He continued his career as a deployment engineer with VestServe in 2018 and as a developer for SoftwarePeople in 2019. He also made contributions while working as a scientific officer back in the late 1980s and early 1990s publishing his research paper "Design and Development of Vortex Amplifier for Pressure Regulation of Glove Boxes" published in the Journal of Vacuum Science and Technology in 1992.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Modur earned a bachelor's degree (Honors) from National Institute of Technology in Tiruchirapalli, India in 1984. He was chosen for training in nuclear technology with the Department of Atomic Energy, India in 1986. He worked as a scientific officer until 1995. Following this achievement he was trained in programming with Computer Learning Center, Boston in 1995-1996. Subsequently he got his Masters certification in Enterprise Solution Development from American International College in 2009. Well-qualified in his field, he is also a Microsoft Certified Professional and holds additional certifications in AWS and Machine Learning & Artificial intelligence.
Within the coming years, Mr. Modur intends to continue developing his career to the point he can serve on corporate boards. He is also working on a project from his course on artificial intelligence, which includes installing cameras to monitor areas in developing countries where animals destroy agricultural crops. This would allow farmers to protect their crops more effectively from local wildlife.
