An award-winning realtor certified to practice in the state of Florida, she currently serves as managing broker, designated manager and associate broker of La Rosa Realty North Florida. Her experience as a buyer's agent for both Century 21 and Keller Williams Realty as well as a sales associate for Watson Realty Corp has afforded her the education, skill and knowledge that has brought her to her current position of broker. As a commitment to her profession, Ms. Montague is certified by the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors and the Flagler County Association of Realtors. She is also a certified professional food manager in the state of Florida and holds a teaching certificate in New Jersey.
Ms. Montague embarked into real estate as a second career, following successful work as a teacher. She first sought an education at St. Bonaventure University, earning a Bachelor of Science in elementary education and teaching with a minor in accounting. She went on to teach at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, held the role of au pair manager for Cultural Care Au Pair, and worked as a substitute teacher for Kelly Educational Staffing. In 2011, she stepped into the position of shift supervisor and barista for Starbucks, where she continued for seven years until she was able to participate in real estate full time.
A highlight of Ms. Montague's career was quitting her previous barista job and entering the real estate profession with the support of her family; she considers the love and support of her husband to be key to her continued success. Looking toward the future, she strives to grow her office to twice its current size, while also enjoying time with her husband and three sons and fulfilling her hobbies of raising chickens, fishing and boating.
