Since 1990, he has served patients at OB/GYN Associates of Augusta (now OBGYN Partners of Augusta), a highly regarded health care provider known for providing compassionate and personalized care to women of the region.
Prior to embarking upon his professional journey, Dr. Williams obtained a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry from Emory University. He went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine and complete a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Williams is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists, South Atlantic Association of Obstetrics and Gynecologists, and Georgia OBGyn Society. He is licensed to practice in both Georgia and South Carolina and has achieved CMS Meaningful Use State 1 Certification in PrimeSUITE HER.
Well regarded for his contributions to the field, Dr. Williams was named Best Physician and Best OBGYN by Columbia County Magazine and was nominated to Best Doctors. Additionally, he was recognized with a Teacher of the Year Award at Medical College of Georgia. He is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians. Of his many professional accomplishments, Dr. Williams is proudest of his relationships with his patients and the fact that he does his best for them each and every day. In fact, he lives by the motto, "Do the best for your patients at all times."
When not busy with the medical practice, Dr. Williams enjoys spending time with his wife, two children and two grandchildren. A devoted Baptist, he is a deacon at the First Baptist church in Augusta.
