An array of sports organizations benefited from Mr. Lewis' intellectual approach to the game of football, including the Washington Redskins, now known as the Commanders, where he was an outside linebacker in 2012. He further excelled in the Canadian Football League as a defensive end with the Ottawa Redblacks in 2014 before returning to the United States to accept a contract with the Arena Football League's Orlando Predators, where he played from 2015 to 2016. The Tampa Bay Storm welcomed Mr. Lewis in his niche position as a defensive end for the 2017 season, and he was a defensive end for the Baltimore Brigade in 2018. His football career culminated in a position with the Atlantic City Blackjacks in 2019.
Mr. Lewis earned an athletics scholarship to aid in the pursuit of a Bachelor of Science in exercise science and wellness, with a minor in nutrition, from Jacksonville State University in 2011. To this end, he went on to provide exceptional guidance to clients as a personal trainer with Optimal Performance in 2017. In 2018, Mr. Lewis collaborated with elite athletes as a performance specialist with The Trench Academy, a training program that offers football players elevated strength training and metabolic conditioning protocols as well as off-season enhancement of technical skills.
Throughout his career, Mr. Lewis has accepted an array of illustrious awards in recognition of his accomplishments in academics, athletics and real estate. He accepted the Agent of the Month citation from Frank Albert Realty in 2023, and in 2019, the Arena Football League included him among the Second Team All-Arena Award winners. While an undergraduate at Jacksonville State, he received the Academic Medal of Honor for 2011-2012, and in 2011, he was named Lindy's Pre-Season All America and Co-Defensive Player of the Year. In 2010 he earned a place on the Dean's List and on the First Team All-Conference.
