Since obtaining the role more than two decades ago, he executes audits and documentation and examines contractors' books and records to ensure they are reliable, reasonable, and in compliance with laws and regulations. Over the years, Mr. Tervil also gained valuable professional expertise as a software engineer for Verizon and as a receivable analyst for IBM Credit Corporation.

An expert in his field, Mr. Tervil holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and a Master of Information Systems. Subsequently, he expanded upon his professional knowledge, earning a certificate in international business through an exchange program in London, a certificate in Spanish through a language & culture program in Mexico, and a COBOL certification. Additionally, he is a certified fraud examiner, a certified acquisition professional in auditing, and DoD Financial Management, Certified. Alongside his work, Mr. Tervil contributes to his community as assistant treasurer of his church. Previously, he aligned himself with the industry as a member of the National Association of Black Accountants.

While his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. Tervil is most proud of earning a scholarship to college where he played soccer as a left wing forward, and obtaining various certifications while working closely with industry experts. Another standout moment was being selected to work at the Pentagon and at the U.S. State Department. The cornerstone of his success lay in his hard work and becoming involved in various organizations that allowed him to move up the ladder. In the coming years, Mr. Tervil intends to utilize his vast breadth of knowledge as a consultant.
