Outside of his true calling, Mr. Burkett worked as a benefits administrator for Triad Actuaries between 2017 and 2021 and as a fire and safety Account Specialist for Telgian Corp. In conjunction with his professional endeavors, he has contributed to his community as the director of education for the Mesa Jazz and Blues Theater, and as a member of the board of directors for the Future is Now Foundation, which aims to help inner-city youth and the homeless population in the Metropolitan Phoenix area.
Before embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Burkett completed studies in music performance, music theory, and music composition through the Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA. In light of his outstanding body of work, he was featured in Shoutout Arizona Magazine. While his career has been filled with standout moments, he takes the most pride in the outstanding growth and popularity of his Elton John tribute show performances, which have given him the opportunity to play in the largest and nicest venues of his career thus far.
