Mr. Henderson is a technology and leadership expert who has enjoyed nearly 20 years of growth with Encore, a live events venue and technology management company. He joined the company in 2005 as a coordinator and rose quickly through the ranks, becoming a director the following year. Between 2008 and 2014, he retained his directorial role and added additional responsibilities as a corporate trainer. He was named Minnesota area director in 2014, a position he held for four years before rising to become regional director of venues. Since 2022, he has occupied his current role as regional vice president of venues overseeing 24 Minnesota venues and their directors as well as coordinating the tools, training, and leadership required for growth.
In addition to his regional leadership work for Encore, Mr. Henderson is a global ambassador for the company and represents the brand and its strategy to leaders in other markets around the country. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in communication and media studies from Maryville University of Saint Louis and an Associate of Arts in graphic design from Marycrest International University. Throughout his career, he has pursued additional professional development including a Harvard Business School certification in organizational leadership and business analytics and Lean Six Sigma White Belt certification.
Mr. Henderson is a member of the advisory board of the Diverse Media Institute and is active in Meeting Planners International. He credits his professional success to his focus, drive, and passion for people and believes strongly in the need for empathy and compassion for those with different backgrounds and perspectives. In the coming years, he looks forward to completing graduate-level education and continuing to rise in the events industry. In his personal time, Mr. Henderson enjoys spending time with his son and supporting his participation in travel baseball and football.
