Since 2022, he has focused his efforts on general jet pump optimization. Additionally, he is a valued member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Klompenhouwer began his career as an engineering intern with Oilfield Data Services, Inc. in 2007, becoming a petroleum engineer and account representative later that year. Following this time, he served as a cement lab technician for Kelly Scientific Resources in 2010 and was a sales engineer for Metrolog the same year. During this time, he also functioned as a sales engineer for Sercel-GRC and as a technical sales engineer for IHS in 2013. He continued his career as a reservoir engineer with IHS in 2014 until taking a role with Noble Energy as a reservoir systems engineer and production engineer in 2015. The same year, he was promoted to a production engineer and subsequently served as a sales engineer for MOSAIC by Omnira Software in 2021. At the same time, he was also a production engineer for the Apache Corporation until 2022.
While developing his professional journey, Mr. Klompenhouwer earned a Bachelor of Science in petroleum engineering from the Colorado School of Mines in 2009. Within the coming years, he intends to further his knowledge within the industry and become an industry expert, including continuing his education and taking a management role in the future.
